Description
One morning when I heard lots of squawking in our front yard, I found this baby robin who had landed in one of our shrubs! His Mama was up in a nearby tree making quite a racket. The wind was blowing the little one's feathers while he sat, practically frozen in place. I ran, but had plenty of time to grab my camera! Mama squawked even louder when she saw me move in close to her baby! After I got my photos, I went back inside to see what would happen. Once the noise ended, the baby had disappeared from the shrub. Hopefully Mama convinced him that he could just take off and fly back home! (That was the easiest bird photo I've ever gotten, before or since. A "captive audience!")

Thanks so much, Natasha, for noticing this little guy! He was stranded in our front shrub for a while before "mama" rescued him, so I had time to get some photos to work from.
