Queen Anne's Lace Close Up

Medium
Painting - Watercolor
Description
Watercolor focusing on the intricate and little noticed side of a common wild flower with a blue sky background. I took the reference photos for this painting while lying on my back in a drainage ditch beside a bicycle trail, pointing my camera up toward the sky with passers-by asking me if I was "all right!" Awkward, but worth the effort!
